With platforms like algo.bwinf, we're committed to genuine educational equity. Today our tools support tens of thousands of students across Germany and the USA — and we're only just getting started on revolutionizing the learning experience in the classroom.

Your role

As a UX/UI Designer, you're the bridge between learning content and the wide mix of learners who use it. Together with experienced teachers and the rest of our team, you'll build interactive exercises and learning formats, and design the experience around them — clear and considered, from first concept to final interface. Your work makes complex concepts feel playful and easy to grasp, lowers the barrier to getting started, and keeps students motivated well beyond the first lesson.

What you should bring

Your foundation: You have a background in human-computer interaction, interface design, visual design, learning experience design, or a related field — or you're currently studying one of these subjects.

An eye for design: You know good design when you see it — harmonious layouts and consistency across visuals and interaction patterns matter to you.

User focus: With plenty of empathy, you put yourself in students' shoes and make learning content tangible through storytelling and memorable aha moments.

A passion for education: You're excited by innovative learning resources, and the prospect of making a real difference in this field is what motivates you.

Ownership and structure: You work reliably, independently, and in a highly self-organized way. What drives you isn't your own idea but the shared goal: creating the best possible learning experience for students.

Language skills: Since we're an international team and also active in the USA, you should be at least business-fluent in English.

What you can expect

Pioneering spirit & creative ownership: You'll be the architect of our learning content, shaping how the next generation learns computer science.

Highly qualified colleagues: Outstanding degrees from Berkeley and Oxford, wins in prestigious competitions — our team is a group of experts who have deliberately come together to transform education.

Innovative tools: That same team also builds the tools you'll work with, giving you plenty of room for flexible, creative work.

Flexible remote work: You're free to choose your own working hours.

Impact & sustainability: Help us bring teaching excellence to schools and make lasting improvements to everyday education.

Good vibes: Get-togethers with our (very lovely 😇) international team.

At a glance

UI/UX Designer

Starting immediately, permanent

15–40 hrs/week

15-25 €/h

100% remote

Find out more at https://algonautin.com, and try a demo at https://demo.algonautin.de/course/csp/unit2.
