You bring a strong eye for design, love crafting interfaces that look and feel great, and get things done - without needing a 40-page research report to start.

About 120 Ventures

At 120 Ventures, we build solutions for the society of tomorrow. We are a venture studio focused on HealthTech, AgeTech, and AI-driven impact ventures. We move fast, build real products, and care deeply about how they look and feel.

The Role

This is not a UX research role. You will not spend your days writing user journey frameworks or facilitating workshops.

You will be designing - screens, components, brand assets, marketing materials, and everything in between.

You are the person who opens Figma, gets stuck in, and delivers work that is polished, consistent, and ready to ship. Moreover, you will work closely with our Product Manager, Venture Architects, and developers across multiple ventures, making sure every touchpoint looks intentional and professional.

Your Responsibilities

UI design: Create clean, functional, and visually compelling interfaces for web and mobile products across our venture portfolio.

Brand & visual identity: Develop and maintain consistent visual identities for new and existing ventures - from logo and colour palette through to full design systems.

Marketing & communication assets: Design pitch decks, social media visuals, landing pages, and campaign materials that grab attention and communicate clearly.

Design-to-code pipeline: Own and manage the handoff process from design to development using MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations - ensuring designs move seamlessly into code without losing quality or creating unnecessary back-and-forth.

Frontend collaboration: Work directly with developers, translating your designs into reality - comfortable handing off via Figma and providing clear specifications.

Rapid iteration: Move quickly from rough brief to polished output, adapting to shifting priorities across multiple ventures simultaneously.

What You Bring to the Table

Design craft: A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI and visual design work - interfaces, brand identities, marketing materials, or all of the above.

Modern tooling: You work with the tools that make designers fast and efficient in 2026 - Figma, Claude, Relume, Framer, Webflow, and whatever else gets the job done. You do not need an introduction to new tools; you explore them yourself and integrate them into your workflow.

MCP-driven workflow: You understand and actively use Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect design tools with development environments - managing the pipeline from design asset to production-ready code efficiently and with minimal friction.

Speed to ship: You can take a brief and deliver a fully functional, polished website within 3 to 5 days - design and build included. No lengthy back-and-forth, no dependency on a separate developer for every small change.

Frontend awareness: A solid understanding of how designs translate into code - you know what is buildable, communicate clearly with developers, and are comfortable making small front-end adjustments yourself when needed.

Operational mindset: You are fast, reliable, and take pride in delivering finished work - not just concepts.

Versatility: Equally comfortable designing a product screen, a social post, or an investor presentation. You adapt your style to the context without losing quality.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication in German and/or English - we are a bilingual team.

What You Do Not Need to Be

You do not need a degree in Human-Computer Interaction or years of experience running usability studies. We are not looking for a UX strategist - we are looking for someone who is genuinely talented at making things look and work beautifully, knows how to leverage modern AI-assisted tools to move fast, and wants to apply that talent across a diverse and fast-moving portfolio.

Why Join 120 Ventures?

Variety: Work across multiple ventures and brand identities - no two weeks look the same.

Stay ahead of the curve: We actively use and invest in the latest AI-assisted design and development tooling - you will always be working with what is current, not what was current five years ago.

Impact: Your work will be seen by real users, investors, and our network.

Collaborative culture: A small, focused team where great design is genuinely valued - not an afterthought.

Growth: Direct exposure to the full venture building process, from early concept through to launch.

Competitive compensation: A competitive salary commensurate of minimum 42.300 EUR based experience and work history.

Ready to create with us?

We would love to see your portfolio. Please write "120" in the "Is there anything else you would like to tell us?" field when applying. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds (f/m/x) and are committed to building an inclusive workplace.
