<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Security Engineer (Palo Alto – 2nd/3rd Line)</strong></p><ul><li>Full‑time, on‑site </li><li>12‑month rolling contract (strong chance to go permanent)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>We’re working with a global organisation that’s in the middle of a major <strong>Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall rollout</strong>, and they’re looking for an experienced <strong>Technical Security Engineer</strong> to support and help shape that programme.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is a hands‑on 2nd/3rd line role in a large, complex enterprise environment, working closely with network, security, and automation teams across the business.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting and troubleshooting <strong>Palo Alto NGFWs</strong> across a global network</li><li>Getting involved in firewall design, policy changes, upgrades, and optimisation</li><li>Supporting the wider firewall and network security lifecycle</li><li>Using automation where possible – Terraform, Ansible, GitLab pipelines</li><li>Working with APIs and some basic Python to support security automation</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong, practical <strong>Palo Alto firewall experience</strong> (this is the key requirement)</li><li>5–10 years’ experience in network security within enterprise environments</li><li>Comfortable operating at 2nd/3rd line level</li><li>Exposure to automation / DevOps tools is a big plus (IaC, Ansible CI/CD, API, Python)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>You’ll be joining a business with real scale, security focus, and long‑term opportunity, with genuine potential.</p> </div>
