This is where technology meets opportunity, and where talent drives global impact.<br/><br/><strong> Purpose of the Job </strong> The Technical Product Manager is responsible for translating business and regulatory needs into clear, technically feasible product priorities and backlog items, ensuring effective delivery together with, and through, the development teams. The role secures high-quality technical product ownership, strong backlog governance, and alignment between business objectives, architecture, and delivery execution<br/><br/><strong> Responsibilities of the Job </strong> - Own and manage the technical product backlog for one or more development teams, ensuring backlog clarity, quality and readiness<br/><br/><ul><li> Break down requirements into technically feasible backlog items with clear acceptance criteria</li><li> Balance new development, technical health, risk remediation, and unplanned work (e.g. incidents, defects)</li><li> Prioritise backlog items based on business value, technical risk, regulatory requirements and delivery capacity</li><li> Contribute actively to sprint planning and ensure priorities are clearly communicated to development teams</li><li> Track progress, scope and dependencies throughout the delivery cycle</li><li> Work closely with Architects, Chapter Managers, Delivery Leads, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and business intent</li><li> Act as the key technical product counterpart in delivery forums and governance settings</li><li> Support cross-team and cross-domain alignment where dependencies exist</li><li> Safeguard technical health, quality and long-term maintainability of delivery solutions</li><li> Ensure compliance, risk, and architectural requirements are embedded in early product development</li><li> Act as escalation point for backlog, scope, or prioritisation conflicts related to the technical product</li><li> Represent and continuously refine ways of working for the technical product ownership and technical product management</li><li>Contribute to improved delivery models, team structures, and product governance practices<br/><br/></li></ul><strong> Education Level </strong> Bachelor's Degree<br/><br/><strong> Experience/Demonstrated Competencies </strong> - Previous experience working as Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment<br/><br/><ul><li> Demonstrated experience in backlog ownership and prioritisation</li><li> Experience working closely with development teams in an agile setting</li><li> Experience within financial services or regulated environments is an advantage<br/><br/></li></ul><strong> Language Competencies </strong> - Fluency in English<br/><br/><strong> Knowledge required </strong> - Understanding of software development lifecycles and technical solution design<br/><br/><ul><li> Knowledge of agile/and or scaled agile delivery frameworks</li><li> Can demonstrate knowledge about backlog management, prioritisation techniques, and refinement practices</li><li> Understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance considerations within banking</li><li> Proven knowledge around technical debt, quality metrics, and system lifecycle management<br/><br/></li></ul><strong> Capabilities for this job </strong> - Able to align multiple stakeholders around clear technical priorities<br/><br/><ul><li> Can lead the decision-making with defined mandates</li><li> Demonstrates skills related to analytical and problem-solving capability in technical delivery contexts</li><li> Ability to translate complex requirements into technically actionable backlog items</li><li> Clear demonstrable experience of strong stakeholder communication and prioritisation skills</li><li> Capable of presenting and explaining technical priorities to non-technical audiences<br/><br/></li></ul><strong> What motivates you? </strong> - Strength of ownership – takes full accountability for the technical product backlog, quality, and delivery outcomes, ensuring clarity and focus in complex delivery<br/><br/><ul><li> Always committed to delivery – consistently drives progress, prioritisation, and follow-through to ensure reliable delivery of technical solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs</li><li> Passion for building sustainable technical solutions – motivated by improving technical health, reducing risk, and enabling long-term maintainability of systems and products</li><li> Highly collaborative – thrives in close collaboration with development teams, architects, and stakeholders, fostering shared understanding and alignment across organisational boundaries</li><li> Inspirational in how you create clarity and direction – brings structure, transparency and confidence to teams by translating complex requirements into clear, actionable, technical priorities<br/><br/></li></ul><strong> Ready to apply? <br/><br/></strong>If this sounds like your kind of workplace, we would love to hear from you.
