<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>Technical Lead (Java / Kubernetes)</p><p> </p><p>Location: Zurich area, Switzerland (Hybrid)</p><p>Permanent &amp; full-time position</p><p> </p><p>We're supporting a well-established technology company in the financial services space that is looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to help shape and scale a mission-critical software platform.</p><p> </p><p>The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, working on modern backend systems in a regulated environment with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and reliability.</p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p> </p><ul><li>Design and develop scalable backend services using Java.</li><li>Drive technical decisions, architecture, and engineering best practices.</li><li>Take ownership of features from design through deployment and production.</li><li>Support developers through coaching, reviews, and technical guidance.</li><li>Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Requirements</p><p> </p><ul><li>Several years of software engineering experience with strong Java backend expertise.</li><li>Previous experience in a technical leadership role, or leading technical projects. </li><li>Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.</li><li>Fluent German and English.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Good to Have</p><p> </p><ul><li>Experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code.</li><li>Frontend exposure with TypeScript and Angular/React.</li><li>Background in financial services or other regulated industries.</li><li>Experience with Python, AI/ML, or platform engineering.</li></ul><p> </p><p>If this is a role for you, please apply with your latest CV.</p> </div>
