We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (m/f/d) (unlimited) Join our team at our location in Berlin – hybride working conditions available. Key Responsibilities Drive business analysis activities across the product lifecycle, from discovery and requirement gathering to solution design, implementation support, and acceptance testing. Develop expertise in customer risk and fraud domain for Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Consumer Finance products, and leverage this knowledge to contribute to business and product improvement initiatives Collaborate closely with product managers, subject matter experts, and engineering teams in an agile, cross-functional environment Analyze and evaluate the feasibility and impact of new features or system improvements. Translate business needs into clear system requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Validate delivered functionality together with the team to ensure business logic and requirements are correctly implemented. Maintain clear documentation for system functionality, interfaces, and platform services. Skills & Qualifications Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable field. 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a FinTech or financial services environment. Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and excellent communication skills. Proactive, self-driven working style with a strong sense of ownership. Fluency in English. German language skills are a strong plus. Nice to Have Experience with BNPL, consumer finance, or credit risk domains. Also knowledge of banking processes and regulatory requirements is considered a valuable plus.
