Banks, Government agencies, and enterprises use our deepfake-detection to stop newly emerging cyber threats such as CEO impersonations, account takeovers, and fake news before they cause damage.

We're a team of passionate innovators, coming from top tier tech and consulting firms as well as startups. We thrive on collaboration, embrace a "move fast to launch and iterate" mentality, and are united by a shared vision of a safer, more transparent world in the age of AI.

Why we need you:

Every deal Aurigin closes depends on someone who can turn a customer's requirements into a real technical architecture - and see it through to production. Our founders run initial discovery and shape proof-of-concepts (POC) - but we need someone to own the critical phase that follows: designing the integration, working with solution architects, and getting deployments live.

You sit between our lead engineer and our commercial team. Technically deep enough to design and defend an integration approach. Commercially sharp enough to keep enterprise stakeholders confident and moving. As one of our first ~10 hires, you’ll also contribute beyond your core role - helping the team move fast, unblocking wherever needed, and shaping how we build and deliver.

What you will do:

Your primary focus is bridging the technical and commercial sides of our customer engagements. For example:

POC design and technical deployment: After founders establish initial scope, you take ownership: design integration architectures, work with customer solution architects and IT teams on setup, and drive POCs to a successful outcome

Customer-facing technical communication: Translate our deepfake detection technology into clear, credible language for non-technical stakeholders - and translate customer requirements back to engineering with precision

Implementation oversight: Monitor active deployments, proactively address blockers, and ensure customers are getting value and building toward production

Engineering bridge: Work with our technical team to prioritize development based on customer feedback; help unblock engineering by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguity between commercial needs and technical constraints

Product-commercial alignment: Partner with the commercial team to identify how our technology can best be positioned and packaged to drive adoption and revenue

About you:

Education: Degree in a technical field - computer science, AI/ML, data science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering

Technical-commercial experience: 2-5 years in a role requiring both technical depth and business-facing communication - tech consulting, solutions engineering, technical customer success, or pre/post-sales engineering

Technically credible: You can read API documentation, discuss integration trade-offs, and design deployment architectures - without needing to write all the code yourself

Commercially minded: You understand what enterprise buyers and their IT teams care about, and you know how to move a POC to a “yes”

Clear communicator: You’re the person who makes complexity legible - to engineers and executives alike

Self-starter: Comfortable in ambiguity, happy to operate without a playbook, and motivated by the pace of an early-stage startup

Languages: Fluent in English; German is a plus

Nice to have:

Background at a tech consulting firm (e.g., Big 4 tech practice, boutique digital or AI consultancy)

Experience in voice, audio, fraud prevention, or enterprise cybersecurity

Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (APIs, webhooks; SIP/telephony a bonus)

You can start soon

Benefits:

Make a real impact: Join a company that is working with cutting-edge AI technologies and fighting the good fight.

Be part of something big: Help protect the world from AI-generated chaos and shape our product and culture from the beginning.

Work with cool people: Our team is smart, passionate, and driven.

Flexibility: Work from wherever you're most productive and collaborative. (At least two days a week in the office in Zurich)

Remark: This is a hybrid role - don’t apply if you cannot be ~2 days per week in Zurich.

To apply: send your CV and a short, unscripted selfie-video explaining your motivation to join to mirjam@aurigin.ai.

If you're ready to use your skills for good and want to be part of a team from the start that's making a real difference, we want to hear from you!
