<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Role:</strong> OMP Techno Functional Solution Architect</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 6 Months</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Brussels, Belgium</p><p><strong>Languages:</strong> English</p><p><strong>Work Mode:</strong> Remote</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and visionary OMP Techno-Functional Solution Architect to own the technical blueprint and strategic evolution of our global supply chain planning platform.</p><p>In this role, you won't just manage software—you will act as the master architect bridging the gap between complex operational realities and advanced mathematical optimization.</p><p>You will lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and integration of the OMP Unison Planning suite, ensuring our systems run at peak performance to drive agile, data-driven decision-making across our global network.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Solution Architecture &amp; Design</strong></p><p>· Translate Strategy to System: Architect robust, scalable <span>OMP</span> solutions that accurately model complex enterprise constraints (e.g., capacity bottlenecks, multi-echelon inventory, volatile demand).</p><p>· Optimization Governance: Evaluate and select the appropriate OMP solvers, heuristics, or custom optimization engines to solve detailed production scheduling and S&amp;OP challenges.</p><p>· Future-Proofing: Design platform structures that accommodate business growth, new manufacturing facilities, and evolving supply chain models without technical debt.</p><p>· Advanced Technical Configuration</p><p>· Custom Engineering: Write, review, and optimize complex OPAL scripts, macros, and customized user actions.</p><p>· Data &amp; Performance Optimization: Own the underlying OMP data model, control tables, and workbook structures. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system</p><p><strong>performance, memory bottlenecks, and calculation run-times:</strong></p><p>· Integration Strategy: Architect seamless, end-to-end data pipelines between <span>OMP and external ERP systems</span> (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle), ensuring absolute data integrity for master and transactional data.</p><p>· Leadership &amp; Collaboration</p><p>· Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the primary liaison between executive supply chain business leaders, planning teams, and technical IT developers.</p><p>· Standards Enforcement: Define and govern global OMP configuration best practice and documentation standards for the broader implementation team.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What You Bring (Qualifications)</strong></p><p><strong>Technical &amp; Professional Experience</strong></p><p><span>· </span>OMP Expertise<span>: 8+ years</span> of experience in supply chain technology implementation, including <span>4+ years specifically acting as a Lead or Senior Architect on large-scale</span></p><p>· OMP environments.</p><p>· Deep Programming &amp; Data Skills: Advanced mastery of OPAL, SQL, and database optimization. Familiarity with object-oriented programming (Python, C++) is highly advantageous.</p><p>· ERP Integration: Proven track record of integrating OMP with SAP (PP/DS, MM, SD) or equivalent enterprise ERP architectures.</p><p>· Lifecycle Experience: Proven success leading at least two full-lifecycle, global OMP implementations from initial blueprinting through hyper-care.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Functional Knowledge &amp; Education</strong></p><p>· Supply Chain Logic: Exceptional understanding of APICS/ASCM principles, S&amp;OP, Demand Sensing, and detailed finite scheduling.</p><p>· Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.</p><p>· Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to explain complex algorithmic behavior to non-technical business stakeholders</p><p><br/></p> </div>
