This role requires a hands-on engineering professional with strong development, architecture, and system design capabilities.</p><p>The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering modern data and AI solutions within the Snowflake ecosystem, with a particular focus on Snowflake Cortex, data engineering, and Generative AI use cases.</p><p>This is not a traditional advisory or consulting role. We are specifically looking for a technically strong individual who can architect solutions and actively contribute to development and implementation.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement scalable data platforms and analytics solutions using Snowflake.</li><li>Develop and optimise data ingestion frameworks and data pipelines.</li><li>Build and support Generative AI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex capabilities.</li><li>Design and implement Cortex Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.</li><li>Develop data transformation workflows using dbt.</li><li>Work closely with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.</li><li>Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.</li><li>Provide technical leadership across Snowflake and AI-related initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><p><strong>Essential</strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex.</li><li>Proven background in Data Analytics and Data Engineering.</li><li>Experience developing data ingestion solutions using:</li><li>JavaScript</li><li>Snowflake Scripting</li><li>Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines.</li><li>Expertise with dbt.</li><li>Experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Cortex Search and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.</li><li>Experience with Snowpipe Streaming and real-time data processing.</li><li>Strong software engineering and coding skills.</li><li>Excellent system design and solution architecture experience.</li><li>Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Network Security knowledge and experience.</li><li>Exposure to OpenFlow technologies.</li><li>Experience working within large-scale cloud data platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of MLOps and AI solution deployment best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical architect with a strong engineering mindset.
