You connect business and technology by translating complex requirements into clear architectural direction and supporting the continuous improvement of our systems.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Menu of Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end solution architecture design aligned with business strategy and long-term platform vision</li><li>Analyze and review existing systems (applications, integrations, data flows) to define modernization and cloud-native transformation strategies</li><li>Design scalable and reliable distributed systems across cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, GCP)</li><li>Define and support architecture standards, documentation, and best practices (arc42, C4 Model)</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineering teams and contribute through prototyping and reference implementations (e.g. JVM, gRPC, REST)</li><li>Support the adoption of modern engineering approaches including DevOps, CI/CD, observability, automation, and AI-enabled development</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Ingredients for Success</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in solution architecture within complex, distributed and integration-focused environments</li><li>Very good knowledge of designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)</li><li>Ability to understand, evaluate, and evolve complex application landscapes, including legacy systems and modernization approaches</li><li>Good understanding of architectural patterns and integration styles (e.g. microservices, event-driven, CQRS, messaging systems, APIs)</li><li>Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics in a business context</li><li>Fluent English; other languages are beneficial</li><li>Experience in POS or payment ecosystems is beneficial</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Recipe Card</strong></p><p>DISH has more than 380k customers across multiple countries, with a diverse team representing over 34 nationalities.
