A Fender is more than an instrument; it’s a cultural symbol that resonates globally.<br/><br/>We are searching for a <strong>DevOps Engineer</strong> to join our PreSonus Software team located in Hamburg,Germany.<br/><br/>The <strong>DevOps Engineer</strong> is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the development infrastructure, including <strong>CI/CD</strong> pipelines, cloud services, and local server infrastructure for software, firmware, and device drivers. They should have a strong understanding of daily engineering routines and software security best practices. We offer a creative and collaborative environment with the opportunity to work from home part-time.<br/><br/><strong>Essential Functions<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Design, maintenance, and administration of CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow configuration</li><li>Administration and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2 and S3</li><li>Maintenance and administration of local/on-premises servers and the supporting development infrastructure</li><li>Implement and maintain secrets management and secure pipeline practices across the development infrastructure</li><li>Maintenance and administration of the integrated ticket and collaboration systems (Jira and Confluence)</li><li>Collaborate with the Fender IT team (who administer the network remotely) to maintain a stable and reliable office network at the Hamburg location</li><li>Maintenance and administration of automated test and build systems</li><li>Monitor and help resolve errors and crashes reported via app stores</li><li>Improve technical documentation<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br/><br/></strong>Required<br/><br/><ul><li>Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role</li><li>Hands-on experience building and maintaining continuous integration systems, with strong expertise in GitHub Actions and YAML pipeline configuration</li><li>Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2 and S3</li><li>Proficiency with agile software development processes and tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)</li><li>Familiarity with major desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)</li><li>Experience maintaining local/on-premises server infrastructure<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Experience with code signing for desktop, mobile, and device driver applications across platforms</li><li>Programming skills (CMake, C++, TypeScript, Python)</li><li>Hands-on experience building and upgrading computer hardware</li><li>Experience collaborating with remote IT teams to support office network infrastructure<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Personal Attributes<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Self-directed yet aligned — works independently and takes ownership, while staying aligned with the development team’s goals and consulting stakeholders before changing scope or direction</li><li>Reliable and process-oriented — keeps work transparent and traceable through the team’s tools (Jira/Confluence)</li><li>Strong communicator and team player — collaborates effectively with the remote Fender IT team and the on-site Hamburg engineering team</li><li>Disciplined problem-solver — maintains clear, up-to-date documentation so knowledge is shared</li></ul> </div>
