Are you ready to join our team and make an impact?<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong>As a Software Architect at TeamViewer, you will be pivotal in shaping the architectural vision and strategy for our software solutions. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that align with the company’s strategic goals. You will guide architectural decisions, conduct reviews, and provide insights to ensure that our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, robustness, and adaptability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our systems are designed for long-term success, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.<br/><br/><ul><li>Develop and implement software architecture strategies that align with business goals. Design scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions end-to-end across the whole customer journey. </li><li>Conduct detailed reviews of architectural concepts, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance design quality and system performance. </li><li>Lead technical discussions, mentor team members up to Principle/Architect level, and provide strategic advice on complex technical challenges. </li><li>Work closely with engineering, product, and operations, marketing, support teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects across the whole user journey. </li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation that is clear, concise, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders. </li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our software architecture. </li><li>Identify and document potential risks in the architecture, providing strategies to mitigate them effectively. <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record designing and delivering complex software architectures across multiple domains.</li><li>Deep expertise in software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, development methodologies, and modern engineering practices.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with software development tools and processes, including VCS, IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and Agile development.</li><li>Expert-level proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, React.js, C++, or C#.</li><li>Proven ability to provide hands-on technical leadership and guide engineering teams through architecture definition and early project phases.</li><li>Strong understanding of distributed systems, multi-platform development, non-functional requirements, and requirements engineering, including the impact of architectural changes on complex environments.</li><li>Knowledge of software licensing, FOSS compliance, and architecture risk management, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>What we offer<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Onsite Onboarding in our HQ office for an optimal start</li><li>An attractive compensation package above the collectively agreed minimum basic salary (according to the IT-KV, Regelstufe with classification ST1/rule: EUR 3.954, with ST2/rule: EUR 4.611 gross/month)</li><li>28 days of well-deserved holidays</li><li>Great benefits package including company achievement bonus</li><li>Special terms for local gyms</li><li>Access to Corporate Benefits platform with many discounts</li><li>Regular team events and company-wide celebrations</li><li>Open door policy, no dress code rules, frequent all Hands and Leadership Lunches</li><li>Work From Abroad Program allowing up to 40 days of work outside your contracting country</li><li>We celebrate diversity as one of core values, join and drive one of the c-a-r-e initiatives together with us!<br/><br/></li></ul>TeamViewer is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone feels welcome and supported.
