The successful candidate will play an important role in explaining the vendor’s RAN/Open RAN solution, supporting customer discussions, and identifying opportunities to optimise and improve the overall RAN solution where appropriate.</p><p>The position offers excellent visibility with senior stakeholders, including <strong>C-level customer contacts</strong>, and will act as a key link between the customer, the local project team and the vendor’s international R&D function at head office.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Act as the main solution management and technical point of contact for the customer.</li><li>Support pre-sales activity, technical presentations, workshops and solution discussions.</li><li>Explain RAN and Open RAN solution capabilities to customer stakeholders.</li><li>Work closely with R&D teams at head office to align customer needs with product and solution capability.</li><li>Identify areas to optimise, enhance and improve the RAN solution.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and C-level contacts.</li><li>Coordinate communication between local teams, customer stakeholders and international technical teams.</li><li>Represent the business professionally in strategic, commercial and technical discussions.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of <strong>RAN networks</strong> and experience working in a senior customer-facing technical, solution management, pre-sales or solution architecture role.</p><p>Candidates should have experience with major RAN vendors such as <strong>Nokia, Huawei or Ericsson</strong>. Experience in <strong>Open RAN</strong> environments would be highly advantageous, particularly with companies such as <strong>Mavenir, Rakuten Symphony or similar Open RAN vendors</strong>.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Strong technical knowledge of RAN networks.</li><li>Experience in solution management, pre-sales, technical sales, solution architecture or a similar role.</li><li>Background working with RAN solutions from Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson or similar vendors.</li><li>Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to customers.</li><li>Experience managing senior stakeholders and customer relationships.</li><li>Comfortable working with international R&D, product or engineering teams.</li><li>Fluent English.</li><li>EU passport holder.</li><li>Based near Düsseldorf or willing to relocate.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Advantageous Experience</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Open RAN project experience.</li><li>Experience with Mavenir, Rakuten Symphony or similar Open RAN vendors.</li><li>German language skills.</li><li>Experience supporting major mobile operators.</li><li>Previous experience in a fast-moving, start-up style or international vendor environment.</li></ul><p><br/></p> </div>
