French is a plus.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>About smartNsales AG</strong></p><p>smartNsales AG is a Swiss B2B platform built for the CPG sector.</p><p>smartNsales Marketplace lets brands book shelf space, promotional slots, and in-store activations at retail locations.</p><p>smartNsales Enterprise is a SaaS product for CPG brands to manage Key Account Management, trade marketing, activations, field execution, and budget control from one place.</p><p>Founder-led, headquartered in Lucerne.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own and build SNS Enterprise from its current early-stage foundation.</p><p>You will work directly with the CPO and CEO to shape and build the product as you go. You own the full stack: schema design, backend logic, frontend quality, test coverage, and CI pipeline. You use AI-assisted development as a core part of how you work, and you have a clear sense of where AI can genuinely improve the product for the end user.</p><p><br/></p><p>You will occasionally speak with clients. You think about what you are building and why, not just how. You care whether what you build actually solves the problem.</p><p>As the product grows, you will hire and lead a small engineering team for Enterprise.</p><p>This is not a role for someone who wants to manage without building, or build without thinking about the product.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Build SNS Enterprise end-to-end. Own database design, Prisma schema evolution, multi-tenant data model, and migration strategy.</li><li>Work directly with the CPO and CEO to define, prioritise, and ship features.</li><li>Own the full stack from backend to frontend, with high standards for code quality, performance, and reliability.</li><li>Use AI-assisted coding tools fluently and bring a clear point of view on where AI adds real value in the product.</li><li>Engage with clients occasionally, listen, and translate what you hear into product decisions.</li><li>Hire and lead the Enterprise engineering team as the product scales.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years in software engineering with a track record of shipping B2B SaaS products end-to-end.</li><li>Strong Next.js / React / TypeScript.</li><li>Solid backend experience across Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Redis.</li><li>Experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and multi-environment deployments.</li><li>Fluent with AI-assisted development tooling (Cursor, Claude, or similar).</li><li>Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.</li><li>Must be fluent in German and English. French is a plus.</li><li>Background in FMCG, retail tech, or trade/KAM is a plus.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><p>Full remote from Germany.
