Senior Director, Marketing – Fanatec
<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> Key Responsibilities<br/>- Define and execute Fanatec's global marketing strategy — building integrated, narrative-driven campaign arcs, not initiative lists — with a strong focus on community and social growth.<br/>- Own Fanatec's brand narrative, product storytelling, and go-to-market campaigns.<br/>- Build, guide, and develop the marketing team — providing clear priorities, protecting team capacity through OKR discipline, and ensuring direct reports are not left without direction or context.<br/>- Lead AI adoption across the marketing function: role-model practical AI use, build team fluency in AI-powered workflows, and ensure Fanatec marketing operates at the productivity frontier.<br/>- Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, Events, and Creative teams.<br/>- Build and scale global community platforms, creator ecosystems, and influencer partnerships.<br/>- Lead global social media strategy and day-to-day community engagement.<br/>- Own channel marketing: deliver monthly MDF planning by account and region, build account-level campaign roadmaps for key retail partners, and represent marketing credibly in sales account meetings.<br/>- Design and deliver structured, measurable campaign arcs for launches and lifecycle marketing, with clear narrative, defined ownership, and post-campaign review at every stage.<br/>- Own and steward the global marketing budget: allocate across channels and campaigns with rigour, protect against overcommitment, and report spend-to-impact transparently to leadership.<br/>- Own full-funnel marketing performance: connect brand and community activity to D2C conversion, customer acquisition cost, and lifecycle retention metrics.<br/>- Own reputation management and crisis-response playbooks for community and creators.<br/>Experience & Profile<br/>- Senior leadership experience in marketing within gaming, motorsports, or tech-driven consumer brands, including demonstrated channel or retail marketing experience (MDF planning, account-level campaigns, sales partnership).<br/>- Structured team leadership: demonstrable track record of managing and developing direct reports, using OKRs for capacity planning, and maintaining clear communication and accountability downwards.<br/>- Strong background in community building, social media, and influencer marketing.<br/>- Proven ability to deeply understand technical products and translate them into compelling brand narratives — including reading product briefs, owning NPI launch positioning, and connecting spec-level detail to audience-relevant storytelling.<br/>- Practical AI fluency: uses AI tools to accelerate content production, social listening, community sentiment analysis, and campaign briefing — and can build a team culture where AI augments output without replacing creative judgment.<br/>- Ownership of martech and analytics stack decisions: knows which tools to choose, how to connect them to business outcomes, and how to avoid tool sprawl.<br/>- Demonstrated budget management experience at significant scale: proven ability to allocate, reforecast, and defend spend decisions under pressure.<br/>- Data-driven mindset with strong execution discipline and a bias for follow-through, not just ideation.<br/>- Authentic passion for sim, motorsports, or gaming culture — with the curiosity to go deep on product, not just the category. </div>
