In this role, you will be part of the platform team and actively shape the further development of the internal developer platform - with the goal of reducing the cognitive load on product teams so they can develop and operate their services quickly, securely, and independently.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining and evolving the internal developer platform (Kubernetes-based private cloud) across the entire software lifecycle</li><li>Co-developing the Dev Center (Golden Path): documentation and best practices together with the product teams</li><li>Supporting and enabling product teams in developing their services</li><li>Automating CI/CD pipelines with a GitOps mindset (GitLab, FluxCD, Ansible, Bash)</li><li>Scouting, evaluating, and piloting new technologies to modernize infrastructure</li><li>Operating and stabilizing a web application including MariaDB Galera Cluster, disaster recovery &amp; observability (ELK Stack)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Solid experience as a Kubernetes Cluster Administrator</li><li>Strong knowledge in Linux system administration</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins</li><li>Proficiency in scripting/programming languages for automation</li><li>Basic understanding of agile processes and development methodologies</li><li>Fluent English and at least B1-level German skills (with the desire to improve)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>More than just a Job</strong></p><ul><li>Modern office with garden, fitness room &amp; garage</li><li>Possiblity to work mainly remote</li><li>Workation within the EU possible</li><li>Stable, owner-managed company with flat hierarchies and an open culture</li><li>Annual training &amp; development budget</li><li>Meaningful work in the education sector</li><li>Paid parental leave month after birth or return from parental leave</li><li>This is a position (38.5 hours/week – NO all-in contract) with a minimum salary of EUR 70,000 gross/year.
