We offer a flexible, dynamic, and highly international working environment where expertise and innovation are highly valued.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional with more than 10 years of project experience in high-voltage technology.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for developing next-generation environmentally friendly and intelligent equipment for global power networks. The role involves close collaboration with various departments within HD Hyundai Electric, both locally and globally, as well as coordination with external partners including component suppliers, subsystem suppliers, software providers, universities, and customers worldwide.</p><p>The position also includes opportunities to represent the company at international conferences, technical committees, and industry events.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and support R&amp;D projects focused on green and digital technologies for future power systems.</li><li>Analyze data obtained from R&amp;D testing to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product improvement.</li><li>Organize and perform parametric and sensitivity studies using advanced simulation tools and numerical models.</li><li>Represent the company in international committees and working groups such as CIGRE, IEC, and IEEE.</li><li>Publish technical papers and deliver presentations at international conferences.</li><li>Provide technical support and expertise to the global organization within your area of specialization.</li><li>Design, develop, and analyze high-voltage components in compliance with international standards and customer requirements.</li><li>Conduct feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, and evaluate expected product performance.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field focused on energy or power systems.</li><li>More than 10 years of experience in project execution and R&amp;D activities, preferably in high-voltage technology.</li><li>PMP certification is considered a plus.</li><li>Experience with simulation tools and programming languages such as Python and/or VBA.</li><li>Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods and simulation techniques is considered a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of LCA-driven design principles and sustainability-oriented engineering approaches is an advantage.</li><li>Excellent command of spoken and written English.</li><li>Strong communication and intercultural collaboration skills.</li><li>Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Independent, proactive, and self-motivated personality.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive compensation package.</li><li>Access to cutting-edge technologies, engineering tools, and research resources.</li><li>A dynamic and international environment with technically challenging projects.</li><li>Collaboration with highly experienced experts in the power and high-voltage industry.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development through training, conferences, and international technical activities.</li><li>International exposure and collaboration with teams across multiple continents.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>At HD Hyundai Electric Switzerland, we value diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive and balanced team across gender, age, ethnicity, and cultural background.</p> </div>
