We’re seeking a motivated Team Lead to technically lead teams, ensure project excellence, and drive innovation in brownfield environments.<br/><br/>Position Overview<br/><br/>To provide technical leadership for complex projects involving facility modifications, expansions, or optimizations. This role involves mentoring junior staff, overseeing execution of high-impact tasks, and ensuring alignment with Tesla’s technical, safety, and quality standards. The Team Lead will act as a bridge between engineering teams and field operations, driving efficiency and innovation.<br/><br/><strong>What You'll Do<br/><br/></strong><li>Technical Leadership &amp; Team Oversight</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.</li><li>Assign tasks, prioritize workflows, and ensure alignment with project timelines and technical specifications.</li><li>Act as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, contractors).</li><li>Advanced Project Execution</li><li>Oversee site preparation, infrastructure installation, and facility development in brownfield environments.</li><li>Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, resolving ambiguities with engineering teams.</li><li>Implement solutions for advanced construction challenges, optimizing processes for safety and efficiency.</li><li>Quality, Safety, and Compliance</li><li>Enforce OSHA, ISO, and industry-specific safety standards across the team.</li><li>Conduct audits to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive corrective actions.</li><li>Strategic Problem-Solving</li><li>Develop innovative solutions for technical bottlenecks, collaborating with engineering and project management.</li><li>Propose process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, or mitigate risks.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Reporting</li><li>Review and validate technical documentation, punch lists, and compliance reports.</li><li>Provide regular updates to project leads on team performance, challenges, and progress.<br/><br/><br/></li><strong>What You'll Bring<br/><br/></strong><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred or high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in construction, electrical, mechanical, or civil field preferred.</li><li>Experience: 8+ years in construction, facility development, or technical roles, with 3+ years in a leadership/mentoring capacity.</li><li>Skills: </li><ul><li>Expertise in construction tools, machinery, and software (e.g., CAD, BIM, project management platforms).</li><li>Advanced problem-solving abilities and a proven track record in brownfield environments.</li><li>Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Fluency in English and German.</li></ul><li>Certifications: Valid driver’s license, advanced trade certifications (e.g., electrical, welding), and leadership training preferred.</li><li>Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors</li><li>Work Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for shift work, weekends, and extended hours during critical phases.</li> </div>
