You'll take end-to-end ownership of this portfolio, shape its long-term direction, and partner closely with Hardware Engineering, Software Development and Product Management as well as commercial stakeholders to bring devices to market that our customers trust and depend on.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Own the product strategy and roadmap for the SPS hardware portfolio, aligned with SPS business goals, our software ecosystem, and market needs</li><li>Drive innovation: challenge the status quo of our portfolio, identify where new form factors, technologies, and device categories can open up new revenue streams</li><li>Get close to customers and partners — visit them, run discovery, attend trade fairs, and bring their reality back into the roadmap. Proactive, hands-on user centricity is the core of this role</li><li>Define and prioritize hardware initiatives, balancing customer value, cost, manufacturability, certification and regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility</li><li>Work with Hardware Engineering at eye level: translate market needs into clear requirements, and understand enough of the technology to have a real conversation about trade-offs</li><li>Ensure hardware and software evolve as one product experience, in close alignment with the Software Product Managers</li><li>Manage the full product lifecycle — from concept and business case through launch, ramp-up, optimization and structured phase-out — including pricing and portfolio performance (revenue, margin, adoption)</li><li>Create roadmaps, business cases and product reports, and present them internally and externally</li><li>Coordinate the roll-out of new products and features together with Sales, Marketing and Support, and ensure a successful market launch</li><li>Act as internal product expert and ambassador for the hardware portfolio, building alignment across stakeholders</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>At least 4 years of product management experience with physical products, ideally in medtech, healthtech, or voice productivity solutions. Experience with dictation hardware is the ideal case</li><li>Alternatively: a strong startup or scale-up background with the can-do energy to build things from scratch and move fast</li><li>Enough technical understanding — or the demonstrated ability to grasp hardware quickly — to communicate at eye level with hardware developers</li><li>A structured, analytical mindset combined with the drive to get out of the building and talk to users</li><li>A proven track record of driving innovation and product discovery — someone who leads initiatives rather than waits for them, and energizes a team around a clear direction</li><li>Ability to translate complex user needs into clear product decisions and priorities</li><li>Strong stakeholder management across technical, commercial and operational partners</li><li>Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>You can expect a minimum base salary of € 65 650 gross per year.
