The role ensures excellence in packaging execution, industrial feasibility, supply continuity, supplier performance, cost competitiveness and successful product launches aligned with brand strategy and financial objectives. The position acts as a key transversal interface between Marketing, Operations, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing sites and external suppliers worldwide.</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p><p><span>• </span><strong>1. Product & Packaging Development</strong></p><ul><li><span>Lead the development of: </span></li><li><span>Primary packaging, </span></li><li><span>Secondary packaging</span></li><li><span>accessories, </span></li><li><span>gift sets, </span></li><li><span>POS materials. </span></li><li><span>Translate marketing briefs into technically and industrially feasible solutions while ensuring the best cost/performance ratio. </span></li><li><span>Coordinate development activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. </span></li><li><span>Manage new products from development phase through to mass production, including : </span></li><li><span>creation of new article numbers, </span></li><li><span>purchase orders, </span></li><li><span>order confirmations, </span></li><li><span>documentation and filing. </span></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>2. Technical Validation & Industrialization</strong></p><ul><li><span>Supervise: </span></li><li><span>technical drawings, </span></li><li><span>prototypes, </span></li><li><span>samples, </span></li><li><span>Artworks,</span></li><li><span>BAT approvals, </span></li><li><span>pre-series, </span></li><li><span>line trials, </span></li><li><span>industrial qualifications. </span></li><li><span>Validate industrial feasibility and packaging compatibility. </span></li><li><span>Coordinate technical issue resolution during development and production phases. </span></li><li><span>Monitor and ensure compliance with the agreed timeline throughout the entire development process</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><strong>3. Strategic Procurement & Supplier Management</strong></p><ul><li><span>Define sourcing strategies for packaging and industrial categories. </span></li><li><span>Lead supplier selection, negotiation and performance management. </span></li><li><span>Negotiate: </span></li><li><span>pricing, </span></li><li><span>MOQ, </span></li><li><span>lead times, </span></li><li><span>contracts, </span></li><li><span>tooling investments, </span></li><li><span>logistics conditions. </span></li><li><span>Ensure supply continuity and anticipate supply chain risks. </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><strong>4. Production Planning, Cost Control & Financial Management</strong></p><ul><li><span>Production planning based on provided forecast data. </span></li><li><span>Bill of Material (BOM) creation and management including master data maintenance. </span></li><li><span>Preparation of price requests and autonomous management of purchase orders for assigned product categories. </span></li><li><span>Monitor and maintain inventory levels, order tracking, and control/documentation of goods receipts. </span></li><li><span>Participate in inventories in close collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy.</span></li><li><span>Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining luxury standards. </span></li><li><span>Monitor raw material evolution and supplier pricing impacts. </span></li><li><span>Continuously review prices and commercial conditions to ensure competitive market conditions.</span></li><li><span>Support budget preparation and tooling/Capex follow-up. </span></li><li><span>Contribute to inventory optimization and obsolescence reduction initiatives. </span></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>5. Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination</strong></p><ul><li><span>Manage multiple development and procurement projects simultaneously. </span></li><li><span>Coordinate with: </span></li><li><span>Marketing, </span></li><li><span>Supply Chain, </span></li><li><span>Manufacturing, </span></li><li><span>Finance, </span></li><li><span>Regulatory, </span></li><li><span>Quality teams. </span></li><li><span>Ensure alignment between launch timing, industrial constraints and business priorities. </span></li><li><span>Escalate risks and implement mitigation plans. </span></li><li><span>Foster close collaboration between Product Development, Sales, Production and suppliers to optimize processes. </span></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>6. Supplier Performance & Quality Management</strong></p><ul><li><span>Monitor supplier KPIs: </span></li><li><span>quality, </span></li><li><span>service level, </span></li><li><span>OTIF, </span></li><li><span>responsiveness, </span></li><li><span>innovation capability. </span></li><li><span>Support resolution of quality and supply issues with suppliers and internal teams. </span></li><li><span>Handle customer claims and complaints, including coordination of returns and replacement deliveries. </span></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>7. Innovation & Market Intelligence</strong></p><ul><li><span>Monitor market trends and packaging innovations. </span></li><li><span>Benchmark luxury competitors and emerging technologies. </span></li><li><span>Propose innovative and sustainable packaging solutions aligned with brand positioning.</span></li></ul><p><br/></p><p> MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p> • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and supplier activities.</p><p> • Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the department.</p><p> • Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding sourcing, industrialization and product development.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p> <span>KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS</span></p><p><span>• Strong knowledge of luxury packaging technologies and industrial manufacturing processes.</span></p><p><span> • Understanding of sourcing, procurement and supplier management.</span></p><p><span> • Knowledge of glass, plastics, carton, decoration techniques and packaging industrialization.</span></p><p><span> • Good understanding of supply chain and production constraints.</span></p><p><span> • ERP/SAP knowledge and strong analytical skills.</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</span></p><p><span>• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging or related field.</span></p><p><span> • 5–10 years experience in Product Development, Procurement or Packaging within luxury fragrance, cosmetics or premium consumer goods industries.</span></p><p><span> • Experience managing suppliers and cross-functional projects in an international environment.</span></p><p><span> • Fluent English mandatory.
