We are looking for a technically strong individual who works hands-on in both the engineering and operation of complex platforms.</p><ul><li>Design, setup and further development of a private cloud/IaaS platform</li><li>Engineering and operation of virtualisation environments with KVM, QEMU and libvirt</li><li>Setup and operation of software-defined networking with OVN / Open vSwitch</li><li>Automation of infrastructure and platform components with Terraform, Ansible, Python and Bash</li><li>Participation in CI/CD processes as well as Git-based deployment and operational processes.</li><li>Monitoring, logging and observability with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or OpenSearch</li><li>Analysis and resolution of incidents, as well as participation in problem and change management.</li><li>Conducting integration, failover and acceptance tests</li><li>Close collaboration with architecture, security, platform operations and other technical stakeholders</li><li>Ensuring the stability, scalability, security, and performance of the platform</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Requirement: </strong></p><ul><li>Extensive experience in Linux and system engineering</li><li>Solid hands-on experience with KVM, QEMU and libvirt</li><li>Experience with OVN and Open vSwitch in the field of software-defined networking</li><li>Deep understanding of networking, especially L2/L3, routing, NAT, ACLs and network segmentation.</li><li>Experience with private cloud, IaaS, virtualisation, or platform infrastructure</li><li>Strong knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform and Ansible</li><li>Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash</li><li>Experience with CI/CD, Git and modern engineering processes</li><li>Knowledge in the areas of observability, monitoring and logging</li><li>Security understanding in the platform environment, e.g., hardening, IAM/RBAC, certificates, and secure configurations.</li><li>Excellent German skills at C2 level and very good English skills at C1 level.</li></ul><p></p> </div>
