Partnerships Manager
Why Omnilex? Omnilex is creating the future of legal knowledge. Our AI workspace for lawyers has the world's first AI-powered legal commentary - a living, evolving layer of legal understanding that redefines how lawyers work. That's why the world's leading law firms, legal teams and legal publishers are watching us closely. In just one year, we've grown from an MVP to a product used daily by thousands of legal professionals across Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein. And with a 4.5M raise, we're ready to scale this vision across Europe. You'll be joining a young, passionate and dynamic team of 15. The role Omnilex's AI commentary is something the legal world has never seen before. But even the best product doesn't sell itself to institutions that have operated the same way for decades. That's where you come in. As Partnerships Manager, you are the person who brings law firms, corporate legal teams, and academic institutions like universities and bar associations into the Omnilex ecosystem. Not just as clients, but as genuine collaborators in building the future of legal knowledge. You will own the full partnership lifecycle: from first contact to signed agreement to deep contribution. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of business development, legal expertise, and strategic relationship-building. What you will do Build and develop strategic partnerships Identify, approach, and qualify new partnership opportunities with law firms, in-house legal teams, and legal academic institutions (universities, bar associations) Own the end-to-end partnership journey — from first outreach to long-term renewal Build and maintain a pipeline of active partnership conversations across the DACH region and beyond Drive adoption and deepen engagement Work closely with partner organizations and design onboarding and supporting structures that enable the contribution to Omnilex's AI commentary Act as the trusted point of contact for partners and contributors, understanding their workflows, challenges, and goals Collaborate with the Legal Engineering and Product teams to translate contributor feedback into product and commentary improvements Develop customized partnership proposals and business cases tailored to each institution's specific context Build the partnerships function Create and maintain playbooks, templates, and processes that make the partnerships scalable across markets Track partnership health metrics and report on pipeline, progress, and impact to leadership Help define the partnership strategy as Omnilex expands into new European markets What Success Looks Like 100+ active partnership agreements with law firms, legal teams, or academic institutions are in place within the first year. Structured and repeatable outreach, onboarding, engagement, and maintenance processes are in place. Lawyers are acting as advocates, referring new clients and contributing to product feedback loops. Who you are You understand how law firms and legal teams work, their decision-making structures, their relationship with technology, and what it takes to earn their trust. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity. You don't wait for a playbook; you write it. You are a natural relationship-builder. You follow up, you remember details, and people feel heard when they talk to you. You communicate clearly and adapt your style: you can hold a conversation with a managing partner at a top-tier firm and a product engineer at Omnilex in the same afternoon. You are organized and structured in how you manage a pipeline. You use data, not just instinct, to prioritize your time. You take ownership seriously. If a partnership is stalling, you don't wait to be told, you diagnose and act. You're genuinely excited by the idea that legal knowledge is being transformed, and you want to be at the center of it. You have 2–4 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management — ideally in legal, legal tech, professional services, or a B2B SaaS environment. Bonus: Fluency in German, French, English Legal background & familiarity with legal research traditions or academic publishing is a significant advantage. Why join Omnilex You will own a function that doesn't yet exist at scale at Omnilex. A genuine greenfield opportunity to build something from scratch with full strategic backing. You will work directly with the founding team on a product that has already proven its value with thousands of legal professionals and is entering a new growth phase.
