In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and databases that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with data analysts, software engineers, and senior data engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data solutions.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.</li><li>Collect, clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.</li><li>Monitor data workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.</li><li>Support the maintenance and optimization of databases and data warehouses.</li><li>Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to understand data requirements.</li><li>Troubleshoot data quality and pipeline issues.</li><li>Assist with implementing data security and governance best practices.</li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation for data processes and systems.</li><li>Support automation initiatives to improve data processing efficiency.</li><li>Stay up to date with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices.</li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li><li>Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.</li><li>Familiarity with Python, Java, or another programming language.</li><li>Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration processes.</li><li>Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.</li><li>Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools is a plus.</li><li>Experience with Git or version control systems is beneficial.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Good command of English; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.</li></ul><p><br/></p> </div>
