This position requires you to obtain a Public Trust clearance, meaning that US Citizenship or a Green Card is required. We cannot sponsor employment for this role. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the United States, to include the District of Columbia. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Analyzing and preparing data needed for modeling</li><li>Developing advanced algorithms that solve problems of large dimensionality in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner</li><li>Implementing statistical and data mining techniques e.g. hypothesis testing, machine learning, and retrieval processes on a large amount of data to identify trends, patterns and other relevant information</li><li>Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to effectively integrate and communicate analysis finding</li><li>Evaluating emerging datasets and technologies that may contribute to our existing analytical platforms</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of data analytics experience OR a Master’s Degree</li><li>Hands-on experience preparing data for advanced analytics</li><li>Hands-on experience on advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g. Regression analysis Logistic Regression/Decision Tree, Monte Carlo methods, Survival Analysis, Simulation, etc.)</li><li>Exposure to tools – Python and R</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice To Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Fraud or Anomaly Detection Experience</li><li>Knowledge of databases, data modeling, data normalization etc</li><li>Tableau</li><li>R Shiny</li><li>Experience on cloud platforms, preferably in AWS or GCP or both</li><li>Experience with DevOps tools and workflows such as Git, GitHub, Jira, Phabricator, Jenkins, or equivalents</li></ul><p></p> </div>
