<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>IT Help Desk Engineer / IT Support Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Ref: YC47347</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>A Japanese IT company is currently recruiting a ServiceDesk Engineer to join its Düsseldorf office.</p><p>In this role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users across the EU region, support infrastructure and end-user environments, and assist with IT projects and system implementations while maintaining high levels of customer service.</p><p>The ideal candidate should have previous helpdesk or desktop support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Microsoft environments and networking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate IT environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>-------------------------------------------</p><p><strong>ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS: </strong></p><p> - (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner, Working holiday visa, Job seeker Visa, Chance card</p><p> - (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, Requiring visa sponsorship</p><p><strong>VISA SUPPORT:</strong> No</p><p>-------------------------------------------</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>TYPE:</strong> Permanent, full-time</p><p><strong>WORKING HOURS: </strong>9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday</p><p><strong>SALARY:</strong> €40-48K depending on experience</p><p><strong>START: </strong>ASAP</p><p><strong>LOCATION: </strong>Düsseldorf, Germany </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>IT Help Desk Engineer / IT Support Engineer Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT technical support for EU users </p><p>• Act as the first point of contact for users in the German office </p><p>• Support desktop, laptop, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing systems </p><p>• Configure and support iPhones/iPads and Microsoft Office applications </p><p>• Assist with IT projects, deployments, and system implementations </p><p>• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS-related tasks </p><p>• Maintain ServiceDesk tickets and provide detailed issue reporting </p><p>• Support networking and infrastructure troubleshooting </p><p>• Work closely with overseas IT teams and stakeholders </p><p>• Ensure compliance with customer processes and company procedures</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>IT Help Desk Engineer / IT Support Engineer Ideal Candidate:</strong></p><p>• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced IT helpdesk or desktop support environment or University degree in IT</p><p>• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line support for corporate users is beneficial</p><p>• Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills </p><p>• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking, and Active Directory </p><p>• Experience with ServiceDesk/ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) </p><p>• Good understanding of ITIL best practices </p><p>• Business-level English and conversational German (CEFR B1+) </p><p>• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude </p><p>• Japanese language skills would be advantageous </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>** All applicants for the IT Help Desk Engineer / IT Support Engineer must have the right to work in the country without any restrictions as the Company is not able to offer visa support. </strong></p><p><strong>**We may consider applications from people on Working holiday visa, Job seeker Visa, Chance card depending on their experience.
