Solution Design<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.</li><li>Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical standards, design principles, and governance frameworks.</li><li>Produce comprehensive architecture documentation, including solution designs, integration patterns, system diagrams, and technical specifications.</li><li>Ensure infrastructure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, performance, and business value.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>Strategic Technology Planning<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Collaborate with Infrastructure &amp; Operations leadership to define and maintain the enterprise infrastructure roadmap.</li><li>Translate business strategies and operational requirements into practical technology solutions and implementation plans.</li><li>Conduct technology assessments, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions.</li><li>Identify opportunities for platform consolidation, optimisation, automation, and modernisation.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>Technical Leadership<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Provide architectural leadership and technical direction across infrastructure programmes and projects.</li><li>Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and technology evaluations.</li><li>Review and approve technical designs developed by engineering and delivery teams.</li><li>Act as the highest level escalation point for complex infrastructure and architecture challenges.</li><li>Mentor engineers and technical specialists, promoting best practices and architectural excellence.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Governance<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Partner closely with Application Development, Security, Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and Business stakeholders.</li><li>Present architecture recommendations, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.</li><li>Facilitate architecture review boards, design workshops, and governance forums.</li><li>Build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>Implementation &amp; Continuous Improvement<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Oversee the implementation of approved infrastructure solutions and ensure adherence to architectural standards.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reliability, performance, and operational maturity.</li><li>Support disaster recovery, business continuity, resilience, and high-availability planning.</li><li>Monitor technology trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve infrastructure capabilities and service delivery.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br/><br/></strong><strong><strong>Education<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Professional Experience<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, or Technical Architecture roles.</li><li>Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions within complex environments.</li><li>Experience operating within highly regulated and security-conscious organisations is advantageous.<br/><br/></li></ul><strong><strong>Technical Expertise<br/><br/></strong></strong><ul><li>Strong expertise across enterprise infrastructure technologies, including cloud, automation, virtualization, networking, security, and DevOps.</li><li>Proven ability to design and support scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions.</li></ul> </div>
