We're building the tech ecosystem for the next generation of tax offices. Our vision is to rethink tax-accounting from the ground up. here's what that actually means: the core idea: we build tools that make tax and finance more efficient and scalable by rethinking core disciplines with AI: - Advisory - Manually screening data to find risks and opportunities for clients costs a lot of time but is key. AI is better and more scalable than any accountant. - Reporting - manually analyzing big data? Not anymore. Get the next action steps right at your fingertips. - Automation - Getting rid of repetitive tasks. They shouldn’t be done by people. Product Design @ Steuerboard tl;dr we need a person who can build fast, think big, and doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. You'll be design the foundation of a new generation tax ecosystem used by tens of thousands of businesses. If you've ever wanted to see your design shape an entire economy, this might be your jam. the bigger picture: we are not just doing “tax applications”. We are building the foundation of how european businesses handle finance and tax - one of the most important pillars of our economy. We will not only level up thousands of tax offices but also millions of businesses. Our products will be the foundation for the next generation of tax-offices. For this it needs to thread an impossible needle: deep enough for complex data handling, accessible enough to make handling tax easy. An outstanding product design is essential for this. What you’ll actually be doing: - Create and implement the foundation of our companies design principles. - You are an essential part of the product team to ensure design feasibility and implementation. - Implement your design into our products without countless feedback loops. Real talk: - You are one of the first folks joining our team (currently 6 awesome folks). - Office first (Düsseldorf) - (Some remote days are completely o.k.) - Lots of challenges - You will ship from day 1 - Your design will have direct impact on thousands of businesses, using our product daily.
