As part of the integration, they are building new network and security infrastructure across approximately 10 sites throughout Europe, including Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.</p><p>They are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer with strong Palo Alto expertise to support the design, deployment and migration of new security environments across multiple sites.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Design, build and deploy new Palo Alto firewall environments across multiple European locations.</li><li>Configure and manage FW initial setup, interface configuration, routing, security policies, NAT rules and security zones.</li><li>Implement site-to-site VPNs and secure WAN connectivity.</li><li>Support the migration of acquired sites from legacy infrastructure onto the Cadence security platform.</li><li>Work closely with Network Engineers during site deployments and cutovers.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.</li><li>Ensure firewall configurations align with security and compliance requirements.</li><li>Produce technical documentation, implementation plans and migration procedures.</li><li>Travel to customer sites across Europe as required.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.</li><li>Experience configuring and managing security policies, NAT, VPNs and routing.</li><li>Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.</li><li>Experience deploying firewall solutions in enterprise environments.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience working within multi-site network environments.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Palo Alto Panorama administration experience.</li><li>Experience with BGP and routing protocols.</li><li>Experience supporting network transformation, migration or infrastructure refresh projects.</li><li>Experience working on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs or business integration programmes.</li><li>Exposure to Aruba or Cisco networking environments.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>This is a hands-on deployment and migration role working on a high-profile European integration programme.</p> </div>
