DevOps Engineer

This public sector organisation also drives numerous digitalisation projects for a modern legal system, supported by a dedicated team of over 400 colleagues.<br/><br/>The Role<br/><br/><ul><li> Operate the IT infrastructure used within the Lower Saxony justice system as part of a cross-functional DevSecOps team</li><li> Administer and continuously develop the container platform (e.g., Kubernetes, GitLab, Kasten IO) based on RedHat OpenShift</li><li> Ensure the constant availability of data required by the courts and public prosecutors in Lower Saxony</li><li> Support specialist teams with the onboarding and introduction of container-based applications<br/><br/></li></ul>What You'll Need<br/><br/><ul><li> Relevant degree in information technology and at least two years of professional experience, or equivalent skills and IT qualifications</li><li> Strong knowledge in the administration of container and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift)</li><li> Proficiency in common DevOps tools (GitLab, Argo CD, Helm, etc.)</li><li> Familiarity with Linux is desirable</li><li> Experience in automating recurring tasks and processes using Ansible or other frameworks is a plus</li><li> Knowledge of agile working methods (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) is beneficial</li><li> Team player with initiative and a service-oriented mindset</li><li> C1 German language skills and standard IT English skills<br/><br/></li></ul>What's On Offer<br/><br/><ul><li> Permanent and secure employment with a public sector employer in Lower Saxony</li><li> Attractive remuneration package according to the collective agreement for the federal states (TV-L), including an annual special payment and supplementary company pension scheme</li><li> Flexible work location within a justice authority in Lower Saxony, close to your home</li><li> High degree of mobile work and flexible working hours</li><li> Solid induction process, excellent training opportunities, and good career development prospects<br/><br/></li></ul>Apply via Haystack today!<br/><br/> </div>
