DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support engineering and operations teams. Daily responsibilities include managing and monitoring Linux-based systems, enhancing CI workflows, and collaborating with developers to streamline build, test, and release processes. The role also involves creating and maintaining infrastructure-as-code templates, improving system reliability and security, and documenting operational procedures and runbooks. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with project managers and technical leads to ensure that environments are stable, scalable, and aligned with project delivery needs.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and configuration management practices.</li><li>Experience with System Administration and Linux, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and security hardening.</li><li>Background in Software Development (e.g., Python, Go, or similar) to build automation, scripts, and integrations.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and automated testing workflows.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking fundamentals (VPCs, VPNs, firewalls) is an advantage.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and comfort working in a hybrid environment.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>Professional experience in energy, oil and gas, or industrial project environments is a plus.</li></ul> </div>
