<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <strong>DevOps Engineer <br/></strong> <strong>Location: </strong>Zug<br/> <strong>Duration: </strong>6 months<br/> <strong>Start date: </strong>June/July 2026<br/> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Lead the migration from multi-repositories to a unified monorepo, including consolidation of GitLab pipelines</li><li>Analyze existing repository structures and define scalable migration strategies</li><li>Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab</li><li>Develop and leverage reusable GitLab pipeline components for modularization</li><li>Integrate and automate Yocto/BitBake build processes within GitLab pipelines</li><li>Collaborate closely with software engineering and infrastructure teams</li><li>Ensure adherence to best practices in versioning, testing, and deployment</li></ul><strong>Required Background</strong><ul><li>Prior experience in DevOps engineering within complex environments</li><li>Expertise in Git and repository strategies (monorepo vs. multirepo)</li><li>Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD (YAML pipelines, runners, pipeline optimization)</li><li>Experience with pipeline modularization concepts (e.g., GitLab Components)</li><li>Skilled with Yocto Project and embedded Linux build systems</li><li>Experienced with container technologies (Docker)</li><li>Solid Linux skills (shell scripting, Python, system understanding)</li><li>Expertise in build optimization (caching, parallelization, artifact management)</li></ul><p> <strong>Nice-to-have:</strong><ul><li>Experience in embedded systems development</li><li>Knowledge of release management and versioning strategies (e.g., Semantic Versioning)</li></ul><p> Sounds interesting?
