<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>DevOps Engineer / 3-6 months Freelance Contract / Stuttgart Hybrid / Start ASAP</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure) to support development, testing, and production environments.</li><li>Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementations (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.</li><li>Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems running in cloud environments.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.</li><li>Assist in managing containerised workloads and orchestration platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Implement and maintain observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting) to ensure system health and rapid incident response.</li><li>Work with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements and supports scalable software delivery.</li><li>Help improve security, access control, and compliance within cloud environments.</li><li>Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure and deployment issues.</li><li>Continuously improve automation, reducing manual operations across infrastructure and deployment workflows.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>2–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or related engineering roles.</li><li>Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).</li><li>Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD systems and cloud-based deployment pipelines.</li><li>Basic understanding of networking, cloud architecture, and system reliability.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).</li><li>Experience working with Linux systems and shell scripting.</li><li>Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, Go, or similar).</li><li>Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.</li><li>Exposure to large-scale or distributed systems</li></ul> </div>
