We apply bioinformatics, biostatistics, and machine learning to address a broad variety of challenges that occur during biopharmaceutical drug development.<br/><br/><strong>Your Tasks And Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> Developing software and machine-learning algorithms for internal use by scientists conducting biopharmaceutical formulation development </li><li> Conducting molecular modelling analyses of protein / peptide biopharmaceuticals and small molecule synthetic drugs to identify stability risks and other molecular liabilities </li><li> Providing scientific advice to support commercial activities such as project acquisition </li><li> Supporting scientific publications and representing Leukocare at conferences </li><li> Maintenance of high software standards, including dockerization, documentation, testing, CI and code review </li><li> Supervision of bachelor's and master's students <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Your Profile<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> Master's degree or equivalent in Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, Structural Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field (PhD is a plus) </li><li> Excellent skills in Python, pandas, and data analysis </li><li> Software development experience (pull requests, ticket systems) </li><li> Strong communication skills in English </li><li> Collaborative mindset and experience in communicating with scientists to analyze experimental data; experience with protein science or biopharmaceutical development is a plus </li><li> Experience in working within a cross-functional environment, with the ability to turn complexity into clarity during conversations with non-subject matter experts, is a plus </li><li> Experience with docker and development of machine learning models is a plus </li><li> Experience with molecular modelling visualization tools or molecular dynamics is a plus (CCG MOE, Schrodinger, PyMol, Gromacs) </li><li> Motivated by working in a self-organized and independent fashion within an international and interdisciplinary environment </li><li> Science-based, diligent, and customer-oriented </li><li> You consider flexibility, proactiveness, and effective communication as your strengths <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>About Us<br/><br/></strong>Leukocare AG, based in Martinsried, Germany, is a biotechnology company specializing in the development of biopharmaceutical formulations.
