<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a Data Scientist with strong analytical and data engineering capabilities to join a Regulatory Data Hub initiative.</p><p>In this role, you will play a key part in delivering trusted, standardised, and compliant regulatory data across the organisation. You’ll focus on building and optimising data transformation pipelines while ensuring high-quality data through robust quality control frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and LLMs.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines, including mapping logic and configuration</li><li>Collaborate with data analysts and other data scientists to define and refine mapping requirements</li><li>Develop and test mapping functions, ensuring accuracy and performance</li><li>Design and implement quality control pipelines to validate data transformations</li><li>Partner with Data Analysts, Data Domain Leads, and Data Governance teams to maintain and enhance data quality frameworks</li><li>Configure and optimise tools supporting data validation and monitoring</li><li>Provide guidance on incorporating Machine Learning and LLMs into transformation workflows</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Deliverables</strong></p><ul><li>High-quality, production-ready code for mapping functions, aligned with DataOps best practices</li><li>Well-defined and maintained mapping configurations</li><li>Comprehensive, documented quality control pipeline designs</li><li>Effective implementation and configuration of data validation tools</li><li>Accurate task estimates and delivery tracking via Jira</li><li>Pilot initiatives exploring ML/LLM integration within data pipelines</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li>5+ years’ experience working with data transformation pipelines / ETL processes</li><li>Hands-on experience implementing Machine Learning or LLMs within production pipelines</li><li>Strong technical expertise in Python and Databricks</li><li>Excellent analytical thinking and a strong focus on data quality and validation</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with data quality frameworks/tools such as SODA</li><li>Familiarity with working in regulated or data-governed environments</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Why Apply?</strong></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact regulatory data programme, helping shape how critical data is managed, validated, and leveraged across the organisation.
