We increase quality of life, enable personalized treatment, advance research, and contribute to a more efficient healthcare system.<br/><br/><strong>We offer<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>A full-time position (partial remote work possible)</li><li>Annual pass for Vienna's public transport and Pluxee vouchers</li><li>Collaboration with people who care about human and veterinary patients alike</li><li>An environment where you feel empowered to ask questions, make requests and offer ideas</li><li>An atmosphere shaped by sustainability, equity, diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect</li><li>The opportunity to contribute directly to innovative diagnostic solutions that improve lives worldwide<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>We need you to<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Analyze, transform and visualize complex clinical and diagnostic datasets</li><li>Design and maintain monitoring solutions to identify trends, anomalies and business-relevant insights</li><li>Perform advanced statistical analyses and predictive modelling to support scientific research, product development and operational initiatives</li><li>Apply data mining and machine learning techniques to prepare, validate and optimize datasets and analytical models</li><li>Explore, implement, and maintain modern machine learning and LLM-based approaches for product-specific use cases</li><li>Collaborate closely with Data analytics, Medical, R&amp;D, Product Management, Software &amp; IT, and Engineering teams to translate scientific and business questions into data-driven solutions</li><li>Develop, improve and document data processing infrastructure, dashboards and analytical tools</li><li>Maintain and further develop existing reporting, monitoring and visualization solutions</li><li>Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations and the development of innovative diagnostic products</li><li>Contribute to optimizing the structure and processes of our Data Science Department<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Your profile<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Advanced degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field</li><li>Several years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics or a comparable role</li><li>Expert understanding of statistics and the math behind data science algorithms</li><li>Hands-on expertise in experimental design and model validation</li><li>Deep understanding of frameworks for developing, training,finetuning, and inference of machine learning models (e.g. Pytorch, TensorRT, vLLM)</li><li>Experience with large language models (LLMs), orchestration, and harnessing frameworks</li><li>Strong programming skills in Python and/or R</li><li>Familiarity with cloud environments, workflow orchestration, containerization and version control systems (e.g. Git)</li><li>Excellent command of English; German language skills are advantageous but not required</li><li>Strong analytical mindset, curiosity and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams</li><li>Motivation to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-growing international environment</li><li>For the cooperation in our team, we offer a payment in line with collective agreement (KV Handwerk und Gewerbe).
