<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong><u>Data Center IT Engineer (Hamburg)</u></strong></p><p><br/></p><p>A fast growing European AI cloud provider is hiring a Data Center IT Engineer to help run one of its flagship AI data centers in Newcastle, supporting infrastructure behind large scale AI training, inference and HPC workloads across thousands of NVIDIA GPUs.</p><p><br/></p><p>You'd be joining a profitable, fast scaling business that has recently closed significant investment and is expanding its footprint across Europe and the US, working alongside expert engineers with genuine ownership of your environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>It's a rare chance to step beyond traditional enterprise IT and help build and operate the infrastructure shaping Europe's AI future.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate and maintain GPU servers, storage platforms and high performance compute infrastructure</li><li>Monitor the health, availability and performance of production environments</li><li>Troubleshoot Linux, hardware, networking and infrastructure related issues</li><li>Support incident response, root cause analysis and service restoration activities</li><li>Coordinate hardware replacements, maintenance windows and vendor activities</li><li>Support rack integrations, infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansion projects</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><p>• Experience within a data center, cloud, hosting, colocation, HPC or large scale infrastructure environment</p><p>• Racking, stacking and cabling experience</p><p>• Hands on experience with enterprise server hardware and storage systems</p><p>• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, switching and data center infrastructure</p><p>• Experience supporting mission critical production environments</p><p>• Experience working within operational support, infrastructure engineering or data center operations teams</p><p>• Exposure to NVIDIA GPUs, InfiniBand, RoCEv2, AI infrastructure or HPC environments would be highly beneficial</p> </div>
