<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking a <strong>Cyber Security Architect (Recovery &amp; Resilience)</strong> to lead the design and validation of secure recovery strategies across critical enterprise systems. This is a long-term engagement based in Frankfurt, with a hybrid working model and a strong focus on cyber resilience and business continuity.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Location &amp; Ways of Working</strong></p><p>• Based in Frankfurt, Germany</p><p>• Hybrid model – 2 days onsite per week</p><p>• Initial contract duration: Until December</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Define and validate secure recovery architecture for critical business services</p><p>• Design cyber-resilient environments (e.g. air-gapped recovery, isolated zones)</p><p>• Assess dependencies across applications, infrastructure, identity, and security layers</p><p>• Integrate IAM/PAM into recovery and resilience scenarios</p><p>• Validate backup and recovery strategies (immutability, integrity, ransomware protection)</p><p>• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure end-to-end recoverability</p><p>• Identify risks and gaps in DR/BCP plans and recommend mitigation strategies</p><p>• Support definition of minimum viable recovery environments (MVRE)</p><p>• Participate in recovery simulations and validate organisational readiness</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><p>• Strong experience in Cyber Security Architecture within enterprise environments</p><p>• Hands-on expertise in Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, or Business Continuity</p><p>• Deep understanding of Identity &amp; Access Management (IAM)</p><p>• Knowledge of backup and recovery security (immutable backups, vaulting, ransomware resilience)</p><p>• Ability to perform dependency analysis across complex systems</p><p>• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><p>• Experience in incident response or cyber crisis handling</p><p>• Exposure to financial services or regulated industries</p><p>• Certifications such as CISSP, GIAC-GSE, or SABSAt</p> </div>
