You will play a key role in ensuring the healthy operation of the Swiss Sovereign Cloud, collaborating closely with a highly skilled engineering team while independently driving and leading assigned technical demands.</p><p><br/></p><p>Location: Onsite, Zurich, Switzerland</p><p>Contract Duration: August - February 2027, subject to potential extension</p><p><br/></p><p>Project Overview</p><p>This engagement supports the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Azure cloud platforms, including the Swiss Sovereign Cloud environment and regional Azure workloads.</p><p>The role focuses on:</p><p>• Azure cloud platform engineering</p><p>• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</p><p>• Cloud automation</p><p>• Operational excellence</p><p>• Cloud operations and platform support • Integration of business applications into Azure cloud environments</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>• Ensure the stability, security, and healthy operation of the Azure Swiss Sovereign Cloud platform. • Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure and cloud services.</p><p>• Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep.</p><p>• Build and improve automation using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible.</p><p>• Support cloud operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvements.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard and integrate business applications into Azure.</p><p>• Lead assigned technical workstreams independently while contributing as a collaborative team member.</p><p>• Promote operational excellence, automation, and cloud engineering best practices.</p><p><br/></p><p>Required skills &amp; experience</p><p>• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or Azure Infrastructure Engineer.</p><p>• Strong Azure administration and platform engineering experience.</p><p>• Hands-on expertise with:</p><p>o Azure Infrastructure</p><p>o Azure DevOps</p><p>o Bicep</p><p>o Ansible</p><p>o PowerShell</p><p>o Python</p><p>• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.</p><p>• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux environments.</p><p>• Good knowledge of networking concepts within Azure environments.</p><p>• Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructures.</p><p>• Excellent troubleshooting and operational support skills.
