The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cloud and edge architectures, driving IoT connectivity strategies, and ensuring enterprise-grade solutions for healthcare and regulated environments.</p><p>The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Teams, and Enterprise Architects to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technical solutions.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Architecture &amp; Solution Design</p><ul><li>Define and design scalable Azure and on-premises architectures based on microservices and cloud-native principles.</li><li>Develop robust edge-to-cloud architectures supporting IoT-enabled products and connected medical devices.</li><li>Design highly available, secure, and resilient software solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.</li><li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define architecture roadmaps and target-state solutions.</li></ul><p>IoT &amp; Device Connectivity</p><ul><li>Design and implement IoT connectivity solutions using:</li><li>Azure IoT Hub</li><li>MQTT Protocol</li><li>Device Twin Patterns</li><li>Telemetry and Command Processing</li><li>Device Provisioning and Lifecycle Management</li><li>Architect solutions for offline, intermittent connectivity, and edge deployment scenarios.</li><li>Define strategies for device onboarding, monitoring, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.</li><li>Address failure handling scenarios including reconnect logic, QoS, backpressure, and resilience patterns.</li></ul><p>Cloud &amp; Edge Platform Engineering</p><ul><li>Design and support edge computing platforms operating in constrained or disconnected environments.</li><li>Architect local edge clusters and hybrid cloud solutions.</li><li>Support virtualization and hypervisor technologies used in edge deployments.</li><li>Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives on Microsoft Azure.</li></ul><p>Containers &amp; Kubernetes</p><ul><li>Design containerized application architectures using:</li><li>Docker</li><li>containerd</li><li>OCI Standards</li><li>Define Kubernetes deployment strategies including:</li><li>Deployments</li><li>Services</li><li>Ingress Controllers</li><li>ConfigMaps</li><li>Secrets Management</li><li>Scaling and Upgrade Strategies</li><li>Ensure platform reliability, security, and operational readiness.</li></ul><p>Governance, Security &amp; Quality</p><ul><li>Promote security-by-design principles across all solutions.</li><li>Drive architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance processes.</li><li>Define observability, monitoring, reliability, and operational support strategies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare and regulatory requirements where applicable.</li></ul><p>Documentation &amp; Leadership</p><ul><li>Produce architecture documentation, design decisions, UML diagrams, and technical specifications.</li><li>Lead technical workshops and architecture review sessions.</li><li>Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.</li><li>Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Required Skills &amp; Experience</p><p>Architecture &amp; Development</p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with:</li><li>Microsoft Azure</li><li>.NET Technologies</li><li>Microservices Architecture</li><li>Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions.</li></ul><p>IoT &amp; Device Connectivity (Must Have)</p><ul><li>Strong expertise in:</li><li>Azure IoT Hub</li><li>MQTT</li><li>IoT Architecture</li><li>Edge-to-Cloud Connectivity</li><li>Device Lifecycle Management</li><li>Experience designing resilient IoT communication patterns and handling connectivity failures.</li></ul><p>Container &amp; Kubernetes Technologies</p><ul><li>Docker</li><li>containerd</li><li>OCI Ecosystem</li><li>Kubernetes Administration and Architecture</li><li>Container Security Best Practices</li></ul><p>Edge Computing</p><ul><li>Experience designing and operating edge platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of constrained, offline, and hybrid deployment environments.</li><li>Understanding of virtualization and hypervisor technologies.</li></ul><p><br/></p> </div>
