This is a <strong>client-facing consulting role</strong>, working closely with strategic cloud customers to design, build, and optimize <strong>scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses</strong> on GCP.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have experience across the <strong>end-to-end data lifecycle</strong>, including <strong>data ingestion, transformation, processing, and analytics</strong>, along with strong exposure to <strong>BigQuery and Ab Initio</strong>.<br/><br/><strong>Key Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Design, develop, and optimize high-performance data pipelines (batch &amp; streaming) on GCP</li><li>Build and manage scalable data lakes and data warehouses using BigQuery</li><li>Lead data migration and transformation projects (on-prem / legacy to GCP)</li><li>Develop cloud-native data architectures for large-scale enterprise environments</li><li>Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Ab Initio and GCP services</li><li>Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams</li><li>Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and infrastructure provisioning</li><li>Work directly with clients in a consulting and solution delivery capacity<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience (5+ Years)<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Big Data / Cloud Data Platforms</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</li><li>Expertise in BigQuery (data modeling, SQL optimization, performance tuning)</li><li>Experience with Ab Initio (ETL development, data processing, migration)</li><li>Proven experience in building data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable data pipelines</li><li>Hands-on experience with streaming and batch data processing frameworks</li><li>Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation</li><li>Strong SQL skills and query performance optimization</li><li>Experience in cloud data migration and transformation projects</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English and German (Mandatory)</li><li>Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification (Preferred / Required)<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Experience with GCP services like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Composer (Airflow)</li><li>Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and streaming pipelines</li><li>Experience in technical consulting / client-facing roles</li><li>Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-grade data platforms</li><li>Ability to design cost-optimized and high-performance cloud solutions<br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Eligibility Criteria<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>German-speaking candidates (Fluent/Professional level preferred)</li><li>Candidates based in Germany or Europe, willing to travel to Germany</li><li>Comfortable with Hybrid work model (2–3 days onsite per week)</li><li>Immediate to 30 days notice period candidates preferred<br/><br/></li></ul>Skills: bigquery,gcp,google,cloud,pipelines,design,data engineer,germany,data,ab initio,enterprise,sql advance </div>
