<div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with strong Securities domain knowledge to support the early phase of a Temenos core banking upgrade program in Zurich for our banking customer.</p><p>The primary objective of the role is to analyze business processes, derive test scenarios, and build a reusable test case repository to support subsequent system testing, integration testing, and UAT preparation.</p><p>The role requires deep understanding of banking operations, core banking product flows, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear, structured test assets.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Analyze current-state and target-state banking processes across relevant functional areas such as securities, securities processing, corporate actions, structured products, derivatives and regulatory or reporting processes related to securities processing.</li><li>Work with business stakeholders, SMEs, and IT teams to gather functional requirements and identify impacted business scenarios.</li><li>Create and maintain a structured test case repository with traceability to business requirements, process flows, and system changes.</li><li>Define positive, negative, boundary, and exception scenarios for Temenos R26 functional coverage.</li><li>Support test planning activities by identifying test scope, test data needs, dependencies, and business-critical scenarios.</li><li>Review functional specifications, process maps, and interface impacts to ensure end-to-end test coverage.</li><li>Support test design for system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT preparation.</li><li>Collaborate with QA teams and implementation partners to validate test scenarios and resolve ambiguities.</li><li>Maintain documentation in a controlled repository with versioning and reusability for future releases.</li><li>Participate in workshops, walkthroughs, defect triage, and business sign-off activities.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.</li><li>Strong domain expertise in areas such as securities, securities processing, corporate actions, structured products, derivatives and regulatory or reporting processes related to securities processing.</li><li>Proven experience in requirements analysis, business process mapping, and test scenario identification.</li><li>Hands-on experience building test case repositories or supporting SIT/UAT preparation in banking transformation programs.</li><li>Strong understanding of banking product lifecycle and end-to-end transaction flows.</li><li>Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, testers, developers, and vendors.</li><li>Excellent documentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools such as Visio or equivalent.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced program.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Prior experience on Temenos core banking upgrade or implementation programs.</li><li>Experience with interface testing, data validation, regression testing, and test traceability management.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models.</li><li>Exposure to Swiss banking operations or multilingual stakeholder environments is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of issue tracking and test tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar platforms.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Deliverables</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Business process and requirement analysis documentation.</li><li>Functional test scenarios and detailed test cases.</li><li>Test case repository mapped to business requirements and impacted processes.</li><li>Support material for SIT/UAT planning and execution.</li><li>Traceability matrix and test coverage reports.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></p><p><br/></p><ul><li>Experience in core banking platform migrations or version upgrades.</li><li>Understanding of payment processing, account servicing, interest calculation, customer lifecycle, and regulatory reporting.</li><li>Ability to support both business and IT teams in a structured test design approach.</li></ul><p></p> </div>
