They are seeking a developer, proficient in Python and associated technologies, to join their growing team based in NRW. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and implement APIs with a core focus on Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy. </li><li>Build and maintain data integration services that connect external market data providers, counterparties, and internal systems across European markets.</li><li>Develop and operate reliable data pipelines and workflows with task orchestration handled through Temporal.</li><li>Develop and manage database migrations.</li><li>Write well-tested code and contribute to prototypes, code reviews, and issue resolution.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>2–4 years of backend development experience with Python.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL) and solid data-modeling skills.</li><li>Experience with FastAPI and tools such as SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and Alembic.</li><li>Experience with Pandas.</li><li>Fluency in English (German is a bonus). </li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Preferred skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with workflow orchestration tools, ideally Temporal.io.</li><li>Knowledge of message brokers and streaming such as Redis and Kafka.</li><li>Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.</li><li>Experience building data integration and real-time data-processing systems.</li><li>Familiarity with energy markets (day-ahead, intraday, ancillary services) is a plus.</li></ul><p><br/></p> </div>
