You will own the end-to-end architecture of a transversal platform covering logs, metrics, and traces on AWS, with OTELas the selected toolset.This is a high-impact, client-facing role requiring both strategic thinking and the ability to get hands-on when it matters. You will work directly with the client's infrastructure platform team and multiple workstreams, in a regulated environment where compliance, security, and delivery pace are equally critical.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities &amp; Deliverables:</strong></p><ul><li>Validate and finalise the cloud observability architecture, producing Architecture Decision Records aligned with cyber and compliance requirements</li><li>Define telemetry standards: log format and retention tiers, metric taxonomy, and trace propagation model</li><li>Design the OpenTelemetry Collector layer and its integration with AWS</li><li>Lead compliance guardrail specification: data residency, log immutability, and sensitive data redaction before telemetry leaves the cloud environment</li><li>Act as the primary architectural stakeholder across all workstreams</li><li>Define onboarding standards and IaC patterns enabling self-service adoption by project teams at scale</li><li>Deliver a structured knowledge transfer programme to the client's internal platform team</li><li>Produce production-ready documentation, runbooks, and telemetry standards</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Geneva On-site presence</li><li>8+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years focused on observability platforms</li><li>Deep AWS expertise: CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, EKS, S3, KMS in large-scale production environments</li><li>Proven experience withOTEL platforms likeGrafana Cloud or Grafana OSS: dashboards, alerting, data sources, and RBAC</li><li>Strong command of OpenTelemetry: Collector configuration, exporters, pipelines, and instrumentation patterns</li><li>Experience designing observability platforms in regulated industries</li><li>Solid understanding of data residency constraints and audit-grade logging requirements</li><li>IaC proficiency with Terraform; ability to produce reusable, team-consumable modules</li><li>Experience leading architecture validation workshops and producing architecture decision records</li><li>Fluent in French</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>AWS certifications (AWS Associate/ Professionallevels)</li><li>Experience with AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT)</li><li>Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries</li><li>Experience designing and leading knowledge transfer and team enablement programmes</li><li>English language skills</li></ul> </div>
