It offers the opportunity to stay close to the technical detail while taking ownership of delivery across complex digital ASIC developments. You won’t be a coordinator removed from the engineering — you’ll be a technical leader who understands the realities of design and can guide teams with credibility.<br/><br/>Our client develops advanced digital ASICs used in high-performance electronic systems. As the business continues to grow, they are strengthening their programme leadership to support increasing complexity and scale. This is a genuine opportunity to join a growing organisation where your experience will directly influence how projects are structured and delivered.<br/><br/>As the ASIC Design Project Manager, you will lead one or more ASIC programmes from design initiation through to manufacturing readiness. You’ll work closely with digital design, FPGA, hardware, software and test teams, as well as outsourced design partners, ensuring alignment on scope, schedule and quality.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Leading digital ASIC programmes from concept through tape-out and manufacturing. </li><li>Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external IP/design partners. </li><li>Managing project plans, milestones, risks and technical dependencies. </li><li>Supporting key technical decisions by ensuring alignment between architecture, design and delivery timelines. </li><li>Providing structured reporting and clear communication to engineering and senior leadership. <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Bring<br/><br/></strong><ul><li>Previous hands-on experience in digital ASIC design before transitioning into project leadership. </li><li>Strong understanding of ASIC design methodologies and development lifecycles. </li><li>Experience managing cross-functional ASIC projects in technically complex environments. </li><li>Confidence working with outsourced design partners and supply chains. </li><li>Structured, pragmatic approach with the ability to influence experienced engineering teams. </li><li>Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Why this opportunity stands out<br/><br/></strong>You’ll join a technically ambitious and growing business where programme leadership is seen as strategic, not administrative.
