Operating at the intersection of cutting-edge research and production engineering, this individual will independently train models, translate state-of-the-art research papers into practical prototypes, and scale them into production-ready systems.</p><p><br/></p><p>The client is seeking a broadly skilled professional across multiple AI disciplines who possesses deep, specialized expertise in at least one core area (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning, or NLP).</p><p><br/></p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Prototyping & Production:</strong> Drive the prototypical implementation of state-of-the-art research approaches and successfully transfer them into high-performing, production-ready solutions.</li><li><strong>Computer Vision Development:</strong> Apply, refine, and further develop both classical and deep learning–based computer vision methods.</li><li><strong>Model Training:</strong> Independently implement, train, tune, and debug complex models utilizing PyTorch.</li><li><strong>T-Shaped Expansion:</strong> Contribute NLP and LLM expertise in addition to core computer vision tasks to foster a cross-functional technical profile.</li><li><strong>Hardware Integration:</strong> Work directly with real industrial camera systems (e.g., Lucid or comparable hardware) to capture and analyze physical environments.</li><li><strong>DevOps Workflows:</strong> Utilize Docker containers to ensure seamless development and deployment workflows.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong><u>Requirements & Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent intensive project experience (such as a Master’s thesis completed within a deep learning–focused environment).</li><li><strong>Deep Learning Expertise:</strong> A strong foundational background in classical and deep learning-based computer vision, with excellent, hands-on proficiency in PyTorch.</li><li><strong>Research-to-Production Pipeline:</strong> A proven track record of translating theoretical research into functional, real-world prototypes.</li><li><strong>Technical Nice-to-Haves:</strong> Prior experience working with industrial camera systems is a distinct plus.
