You will help German SMEs (deutschen Mittelstand) navigate and thrive in the age of AI. This role is fundamentally about solving human and process challenges with the strategic application of AI, rather than purely technical implementation. You'll build bridges between subject matter experts, departmental processes, and the technology available to them.</p><p>You have a strong ability to quickly build a deep understanding of complex business processes and contexts, identifying opportunities to enhance them with AI-driven workflows, and sometimes through pure digital optimisation.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you will be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a dedicated consultant and project manager for our AI transformation clients, primarily German Mittelstand companies, guiding them through their AI journey from strategy to execution.</li><li>Help clients adopt AI in their daily work through AI chat, automated workflows, and agents, driving real engagement and proficiency across teams.</li><li>Advise clients on the right tech stack for their needs, working with the tools they already have or helping them select the ones that fit best.</li><li>Design, deliver, and facilitate comprehensive training programmes and workshops that empower client teams and leaders to confidently and effectively use AI in their day-to-day work.</li><li>Analyse existing business processes to identify pain points and develop innovative optimisations, leveraging AI-based workflows, automation, or other digital solutions.</li><li>Devise and implement strategic initiatives for organisational development, ensuring AI adoption aligns with business goals and human capabilities.</li><li>Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner throughout the project lifecycle.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you bring</strong></p><p><em>Must-Haves</em></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3 to 5 years of professional experience in consulting, business process optimisation, project management, or strategic advisory roles, with demonstrated exposure to senior (C-level) stakeholders.</li><li><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Strong business and process thinking, with an ability to quickly understand complex organisational structures and workflows. You see the human problem, not only the tech problem.</li><li><strong>Workflow &amp; Automation Literacy:</strong> A working understanding of process optimisation and workflow automation using tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make. You don't need to be the most technical person in the room, but you should understand how to build and maintain the workflows that modern AI automations and agents are built on, including working with tools such as Claude or Copilot.</li><li><strong>Strategic Mindset:</strong> A strategic and analytical approach, capable of devising and executing organisational development initiatives that drive real change.</li><li><strong>Communication &amp; Facilitation:</strong> Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to design, conduct, and facilitate engaging trainings and workshops, especially around new technology adoption and driving proficiency.</li><li><strong>Language Proficiency:</strong> Fluent in German (C2 level) and professional proficiency in English, essential for effective communication with our German-speaking clients.</li><li><strong>GenAI Interest/Experience:</strong> Hands-on interest in or direct experience with GenAI (AI chat, workflow automation, and agents) and a clear sense of how it can transform business processes and operations.</li><li><strong>Client Management:</strong> Proven experience in managing client relationships, driving projects to successful outcomes, and delivering impactful results.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><em>Nice-to-Haves</em></p><ul><li><strong>Consulting Background:</strong> Prior experience in a management consulting firm or similar client-facing advisory role.</li><li><strong>Mittelstand Knowledge:</strong> Familiarity with the unique challenges, culture, and opportunities within the German Mittelstand sector.</li><li><strong>Transformation &amp; Change:</strong> Experience in digital transformation projects or change management.</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong> Project management (e.g. PMP, Prince2) or coaching certifications are a plus.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>This is a unique opportunity to apply your strategic vision, process expertise, and passion for innovation to directly impact the future of German businesses.
