You will build production-grade, LLM-powered products end-to-end, moving quickly from discovery to first value, then scaling what works through reusable capabilities and strong governance over trusted, AI-ready data. This role combines real business impact with advanced applied AI (e.g., RAG, agents, extraction, evaluation) in a highly collaborative, agile environment where responsible AI, data governance, and risk controls are embedded from day one.<br/><br/>Key responsibilities<br/><br/><ul><li> Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and scope high-impact AI use cases, including buy-vs-build assessments </li><li> Design and deliver AI products end-to-end, from problem definition through prototype, pilot, and production handover </li><li> Build AI-powered solutions including data pipelines, retrieval systems, and reasoning workflows </li><li> Integrate with vendor AI platforms and internal AI solutions, reusing existing capabilities where possible </li><li> Instrument solutions to track adoption, quality, business value, ROI, cost, and risk </li><li> Partner with technology teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, auditable, and maintainable </li><li> Run rapid evaluation cycles and contribute reusable components, patterns, and tools for wider adoption <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>What We Expect<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related field </li><li> 5+ years of software engineering experience, including financial services exposure and strong understanding of markets </li><li> 2+ years delivering ML/AI solutions to production, including end-to-end delivery of LLM-enabled applications (from prototyping to deployment and monitoring) </li><li> Strong Python skills and proven ability to design and build maintainable, high-quality software in enterprise environments </li><li> Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and modern DevOps practices </li><li> Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear scopes, roadmaps, and measurable success metrics <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>Nice To Have<br/><br/></strong><ul><li> AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate (or equivalent) </li><li> Experience working with confidential data and partnering with governance, risk, and security stakeholders <br/><br/></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br/><br/></strong>Partners Group is a global financial institution that retains the culture, pace and agility of a start-up.
