We’re also currently seeing strong traction on the fundraising side as we move through our pre-seed round this year.</p><p><br/></p><p>Our founding team includes experienced SaaS founders as well as a Vice President at BlackRock serving as co-founder.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Your first challenge:</strong></p><p>Build a highly cost-efficient PDF extraction pipeline in TypeScript that can reliably identify products and product categories inside 400+ page tender documents.</p><p><br/></p><p>The interesting part is not “using AI”.</p><p>It’s deciding when <em>not</em> to.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>You’ll design the trade-offs:</strong></p><p>– which pages deserve a frontier model</p><p>– what can be handled with cheaper parsers or smaller models</p><p>– how to chunk, cache, structure and evaluate outputs</p><p>– and how to make the system trustworthy at scale</p><p>You’ll work directly with the founding team and own the system end-to-end — from architecture decisions to production deployment.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><p>→ Strong TypeScript / Node.js skills</p><p>→ Real-world LLM experience (structured outputs, evals, RAG, tool calling, cost/latency trade-offs)</p><p>→ Experience with PDFs, OCR or document parsing</p><p>→ Pragmatic engineering mindset</p><p>→ Interest in building reliable systems, not demos</p><p>→ Ideally based near Vienna or Munich</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>What you get:</strong></p><p>→ Meaningful ESOPs</p><p>→ Real ownership from day one</p><p>→ Small team, fast decisions, little bureaucracy</p><p>→ A product with real customer demand and technically hard problems</p><p><br/></p><p>If you’ve built LLM systems where efficiency actually mattered, we’d love to talk.</p><p><br/></p><p>Apply via office@bondiq.eu</p> </div>
